My name is Mikalina Kirkpatrick and I am a process artist. My creative unfolding began when I started participating in Wild Writing circles just like the ones I offer back in 2013 with Laurie Wagner and I've been process writing regularly ever since. Sometimes it turns into poems, but I usually just do it to witness and have a deeper relationship with myself.

 

In 2019 I picked up a paint brush for the first time in decades when I desperately needed a new creative outlet. I was introduced to the formal facilitated  practice of Process Painting with Stewart Cubley in 2022.

 

I've been facilitating Wild Writing style practice circles since 2020 and process painting circles since 2024. Making art makes me feel alive.
