Make ART;
Feel ALIVE
When we engage with and surrender to our inherent inner creativity, we connect with the source of life.
At The Moon Remembers Studio we engage simple yet powerful practices that unleash the creative spirit that lives within us all.

$15-30 sliding scale
This open-ended creative process time is offered in a facilitated online community setting. Participants will be guided in ways that help to open to exploration, experimentation, process, and expression rather than focusing on trying to achieve a particular outcome or end product.
Through facilitated discussion, participants will be given the opportunity to share their processes as they feel called to without judgement or feedback from others. Accessible and open-ended themes, inquiries, and portal-prompts will be offered to serve as jumping-off points. We’ll talk about what comes up for us as we create, and how the prompts and themes resonate with us with an attitude of curiosity and embracing the mystery and creative process.
No art experience necessary. This is a great class for people struggling to connect with their creativity (or think they don’t have any!), for folks whose creative processes need some new energy, and for anyone who wants to explore creativity in a community setting.
Participants should come to class with art supplies and a cleared space in front of their webcam to create. Suggested materials include at minimum; mixed-media paper (11x14 or larger suggested), and multicolored mark-making implements.
Paints (watercolor or tempera paints are great), markers, colored pencils, crayons, pastels, chalks, whatever you have around the house or pick up at a thrift or discount store is fine.

$10-20 sliding scale
Writing practice with three poetry-prompted 10-minute writes. Read aloud, no feedback, simply witness and be witnessed. This practice is a great way to “crack open” the writing mind. It’s a way to set yourself free from the inner critic; to get to know yourself better as a writer, and as a human being. It feels good — even when it feels kinda bad. When we do this practice in a group, we become a community, a circle, witnesses to each other.
When we do this practice together we agree to witness each others’ stories and processes without feedback while honoring each others’ story, autonomy, and dignity. What’s shared here stays here, what’s learned here leaves here. We agree to take care of ourselves using our self-care practices, support systems, and trusting our inner knowing.
